This therapy involves placing special cups on the skin for a few minutes to create suction, and the suction draws up the skin which helps to stimulate the flow of blood, balance and realign the flow of energy. It breaks up obstructions and creates an avenue for toxins to be drawn out of the body.

Gua Sha is used to treat pain as a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. The treatment releases unhealthy elements from discomfort areas, and resulting in stimulating blood flow and healing.

Ashiatsu is a type in which the professional walks on the client's back, using bars and other props for support to vary pressure and weight.
